T4L3N7 CTF - ftw | Prize: 1000 Bytes | Only one winner - Nick (Name) - Jan 6, 2019

Here's to another challenge to start of 2019, another stenography challenge, it is a lot tougher than the last but nonetheless can be completed. Who ever completes the challenge can post a write-up on how to do the challenge if you'd like, but there can only be one winner that acquires the bytes. Once you have completed the challenge please send me a PM and I'll validate the flag you've found. Once a member finds the flag the post will be closed, so keep that in mind so you're not PMing me for a closed contest. Good luck and have fun!

Prize: 1000 βytes
Challenge: https://media.nick-name.net/ctf/ftw.zip
Default Archive Password: nickname
Flag Format: NICK{s0m3t3xt}

After noticing I selected one of my harder challenges, I’ve doubled the prize. This challenge is harder than I originally made it out to be, still no hints will be given.

Sorry! Not sure if others have tried reaching my site but it was down due to a certificate transfer, I uploaded the wrong certificate and did not even notice. My site is back up and links are now live again.

I’ve enjoyed doing google’s CTF beginner challenges not much time ago so I’m excited to give this a try.

If you want an easy 50 byte prize all you have to do is go rep someone, I'm tired of seeing these threads in the contest section, I wanted something different. Besides I solve challenges just as difficult as this one for the fun and learning experience. Once I acquire 2k bytes, I'll double the prize again.

The challenge is completely doable, it's not like the common easy to finish challenges in under 30 minutes, I made a mistake for posting a rather difficult one. It's challenging, but you'll learn how much data you can store inside an mp3 after post processing.

Not yet, another one will be posted next month even if this one isn't completed.

Any chance there is a MySQL ISAM file hidden in the mp3?
