My trust scan looks odd, im matching with 2 other members?? - Pikachu - Jan 12, 2019
I was looking at my own trust scan and i noticed ive logged on from 3 different IPs, 2 unique ISPs, and it says 2 members are matching my IP.
I use my phone to browse HF whenever i can when im not home, and i would normally hop on any public wifi available, could this possibly be the reason why?
Before i used to check my trust scan regularly whenever i would use my phone from another location/wifi and the trust scan would remain the same (with 1 unique IP/ISP) even though im on another wifi. Could it be that the system was updated to keep up with whatever wifi i hop on to?
And is it possible that one of those public wifi spots had other HF members who may have logged on at some point in time?
I do not think my account was compromised since i have 2-step verification set up for my account. But still this is tripping me out because as far as i know, im the only person in my household that has a HF account.

Are you using any vpn or proxy?

No i haven't been using either of those, i have no reason to.

It isn't 100% uncommon to have matching IPs when you use a mobile network.

I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you, at least not from an HF moderation standpoint. Staff know what they are doing and have tools to dive deeper into the data that you see in Trust Scan.
