How to Gain access to cars and steal cars - NFH Vituperate - Jan 13, 2019
I do not promote stealing cars and flipping them and taking out the black box of a car switching its VIN so on and so on but I feel its important for others to know this. Modern cars are more computerized than ever. Infotainment and navigation systems, wi-fi, automatic software updates, and other innovations aim to make driving more convenient. But vehicle technologies haven’t kept pace with today’s more hostile security environment, leaving millions vulnerable to attack. This being said you can buy RFID key fob that can mimic the signal a key fob would send a car. An RFID scanner can also mimic cards that can give you access to buildings. As of right now I don't think there is a way to protect yourself from this...considering putting your car in a garage...but then again I'm sure if someone really wanted to, they can use this RFID key fob to open your garage. Check below and add "https//" in front of shop and after hak5 add "org"

I doubt this would work on modern cars as they have protection against replay atacks.
