SQLite.cs with SQLiteConnection and SQLiteDataReader? - Anon Scripter - Jan 15, 2019 Protable SQLite with SQLiteConnection and SQLiteDataReader? Im working on a good project, but i cant have dependencies with it. RE: SQLite.cs with SQLiteConnection and SQLiteDataReader? - +Haze - Jan 15, 2019 Why not use Entity Framework? That way you won't have to constantly worry about the under the hood of SQL for your project. Quite better in terms of performance and as far as I am concerned, it's easier to setup for people to ORMs. (Jan 15, 2019 12:40 AM)Anon Scripter Wrote: Protable SQLite with SQLiteConnection and SQLiteDataReader? What do you mean can't have dependencies with it? The moment you include some portable SQLite library in your project, you have a dependency on it. If by no dependencies you meant you don't want to ship any DLLs with it, then you can either find some open source project and include the source code in yours (which I wouldn't recommend) or you can add the dependencies on your resources and load them dynamically on runtime. I'm just against manually interacting with the database when ORMs exist. I personally don't like Entity Framework due to its poor performance when compared to other ORMs (as various sources online say). However, Entity Framework Core looks like a huge improvement over the standard one. |
