[Tutorial] Copy any (Premium) MyBB theme and Duplicate any website. - Capital - Jan 24, 2019

This is a short tutorial made for educational purposes for whoever doesn't know how to do this.
This is my first tutorial but not my last, probably the shortest tutorial i'll ever post tho, i see this being useful for people who are new to web development/design and website developers who don't know how to do front-end but are great coders.

How to copy any MyBB Theme
  1. Locate the forum that you want to locate and Right Click anywhere to select "View Page Source"
  2. Once you are in the page source press the following key combination: CTRL+F and then search for ".css"
  3. If correct you'll be taken to the global.css file link and if you are select the file and open it.
  4. Next you want to copy the entire code into a notepad or text document (i recommend Notepad++ or Brackets.io which is developed by Adobe.)
  5. If you check the code that you've copied and pasted you will see that some lines look like (..../images/theme/xxxxx.png) and you'll have to replace the dots with the website URL of the website that you are taking the theme from (this is for the lazy people).
What you can also do is download the HTTrack Website Copier tool and then duplicate the entire website, this will give you the global.css page code including all images that are used, organised into the correct folders.
You will then locate those pictures used by the theme (usually located in the "Images or Theme" folder) and upload them into your personal MyBB installation folder located in your host.
When you've done so you don't have to replace the dots (referring to the first part of this step) by the website URL, this is in my opinion the correct way to copy/duplicate a forum theme and it will also save you the effort of editing all lines that include image links.
  6. The final step is to go to your MyBB Forum's admin panel and then navigate to: AdminCP>Templates and styles>Themes>Create new theme>Give it a name and such> locate Global.CSS> Advanced Mode> where you then copy and paste the global.css code that you've copied/pasted into txt/notepad earlier.
  7. Don't forget to save your changes, you are done.

Duplicate any Website:
  1. Download the HTTrack Website Copier tool at www.httrack.com
  2. When you are done with the installation and HTTrack is open press "Next" and then give it a Project Name (leave category empty) and find yourself a location where you want to save your copied website content and press "Next".
  3. Leave "Action" at "Download web site(s)" and fill in the website URL that you want to copy under "Web Addresses: (URL)" and then press "Next".
  4. At this tab you don't realy have to change anything so just click "Finish" which starts the process of duplicating the website.
I want to note that this doesn't work at every website guaranteed but it does on most websites including themes/templates found on "ThemeForest.net" which is useful if you are after a certain theme but you don't realy care about it's features.

If you have any questions then let me know through this thread.

You mention "any MyBB Theme". Might be worth noting that this probably won't work fully for many custom themes.

I love how you mention this is great for those "new to web development/design." Because, ripping someone else's work is always the best way to learn and improve your skills, obviously.
