Best way to recover files? - iBox - Jan 24, 2019 Hi All, so i had one drive installed & it uploaded all of my files to the cloud, i deleted all my files from the cloud then the "one drive" folder bugged me tried everything to remove. nothing worked (deleted the keys from regedit etc ) i came across a bat file that would remove it so stupidly i ran the bat without making a copy of the one drive folder where all my files were so now its removed it all anyone know what the best way to recover these files would be? or any suggestions what i can do thanks. RE: Best way to recover files? - webdev77 - Jan 24, 2019 Login to Office.com and then you should be able to have the option to restore deleted OneDrive files that were synced with the cloud storage. RE: Best way to recover files? - datguy.dev - Jan 25, 2019 Through CMD, you've permanently deleted those files. Shut down asap. Create an image of the drive. Use forensics tools or other data recovery software on the image to try an recover the files. Not all the software is made equally, so I use multiple just to compare results. |
