Acces network Computer - root_kitt - Jan 26, 2019

Hey im totally new in this. And i want to know what can i do if i entered a wifi network. Like how can i access another computer in this network. What tools can i use to make that working? And how can i get the the logon password and the username of a computer in the network. Is there a windows tool to make this work? Or only tools for linux?

Thank u very much

umm .. I think that there is a certain level of understanding lacking. The simple basics of it are after access you have a few options for engaging other devices:

1) Exploits
2) Services/Network misconfiguration or setup misconfigurations (also just how some services work) as an example say SMB/AD you can see credentials going back and forth ( heck you can run your own responder instance where in other machines with auth to you) Another example there is SMB you can log in perhaps using PTH (pass the hash) to a share well uploading and execution is possible.
3) Another example NAS on a router (home router) often you can just replace files with a backdoored file .. this is possible. It isn't out of the realm that providing you do the groundwork you can have users around the network downloading backdoored files.

(Assuming that your machine is on the network not your machine to compromised machine and pivoting to engage other devices. )

I agree with silent that you don't seem like you completely understand what you need to be able to attack the network. like he said you could get in through a code exploit on a running network service. you could also exploit a misconfiguration like an open SMB, FTP, RDP with no password. the internal network is usually the weak point of networks. I suggest you learn more before trying anything.
