I'm fairly new to Hackforums and I came on here because I saw a living ecosystem of individuals who are business-oriented. After cruising for a few weeks I've noticed that a lot of you guys are actually really cool but there are some who are just so incredibly toxic. Seems like mental illness is rampant among some hackers maybe? 0.o
Just curious your opinions or if I've simply been over-analyzing.

You think this is bad? you should of been here years ago when it was literally filled with toxic people.
I can admit I was very toxic back then, but I think it's calmed down SO much compared to back then.

I honestly don't have a problem with that at all except a lot of times these kids with really dark humor are actually incredibly depressed. This depression can get pretty dark to the point of self-harm or fucking people actually doing some pretty bad things they end up regretting (think schools being torn apart because of certain incidents...).
P.s. I really don't give a shit about dark humor as long as you're not dying to hurt other people and are secretly "crying out for help".
I'm a psychology fanatic so I'll stop before I get too into my own theories LOL

That thought did cross my mind and I'm realizing how much the "Upgraded People" hierarchy plays a role on this forum haha. Pissed I didn't catch that before. I can't wait to upgrade but most of my money is in my business bank account so I can't really touch it for HF.

It's because you're new, no offense but your account just looks like a multi. New members who arent upgraded just have an overall bad reputation here, especially without pictures and a post count of less than 100. I;m not saying anything you're doing is wrong but as you post more, upgrade and get to know more people the vibe of the forum changes. But yes as a new member I remember feeling the same way about it
