The Game Beta - Omniscient - Feb 4, 2019

So that's what we've been working on over at Knotbb.com (beta and development site). It should be on HF this week.

This is a rough road map to what we're doing.

1. Profiles (with attributes and skills)
2. Small Hacks (for building up profile)
3. CloudDrive (to store software bought from shop, this also has download times and space available)
4. Shop (to buy items to do PC and Server Hacks, shop has both Software and Hardware)
5. Battery/Power (so that items from shop are charged)
6. OpSec (Setup for PVP Protections)
7. Contract Jobs (requires shop items and skills, some contract jobs will be against players or crews, also a place to level up and earn by being hired)
8. PC Hack (PVP Actions and hacking)
9. Server Hacks (Crew actions and hacking)

When we add the beta to HF #1,2,3 will be done and functional. As we complete areas they will be updated to HF. Be aware that this game is going to take months to develop but I expect 3-5 weeks we'll be at #7 or #8 and everyone will be enjoying our game.

All these pages are going to be built up over time with more and more options added as we go. Be aware that the page may appear small on a desktop. This is intentional because ultimately we want the game to be played on your mobile device. The hope is that you'll be playing the HF game all the time even if you're not posting on HF or reading threads. So it's vital to be mobile friendly.

You'll notice that #9 is the first mention of Crews. That's going to be very complex and require that individual members first have inventory and skills. Players will first do Small Hacks to build up one of 3 main attributes (Coding, Social Engineering, and System Administration). I can't think of one hacker skill that doesn't require at least one if not all three of those baseline skills. Players will have to buy both hardware and software from the Shop in order to continue to advance in the game and gain experience points. There will be a Power/Battery control center which you'll have to keep charged in order to do actions. OpSec is your security control panel for things like your anti-virus, firewall, and privacy settings.

There is so much more but I don't want to spoil it all. Be aware this is JUST A GAME and that you're not really hacking members or doing anything illegal. It's strictly for fun and entertainment. This is a simulation game of hacking and we hope everyone enjoys it.

Do you like the preview images. Expect the Beta on the site this week. We are far enough along in development I am comfortable saying that.

Very nice.

Wonder where bytes will be put into play... hmmm as I know the currency in the game will be different than bytes.

And lol will it be a bannable offense if someone created a script and ran it 24/7 leveling up?? Gotta be the best of the best ya feel.

Don’t forget about the dope punishments that were hyped up - changing usernames & temp banning other crew opponents! :p ie instead of throwing them in jail like hackerforever, they get temp banned for 24/48/72 hours!

I've actually spoke to Xerotic about setting something up ;) not going to be loads and loads but I'll do my best to try help out.

Also OT: I'm actually so excited for this to come into play, legit can't wait.
