My problem with the Youtube entrepreneurs - iExe - Feb 28, 2019

I will never understand why Youtube entrepreneurs want to teach you how to make millions of dollars, when in the background you see a house, which looks more like a hut. Over time I realize that there is more and more smoke on the internet, and that in fact, those who make money, remain silent kneading fortunes. Weird, no?

For the most part, it's all a bunch of bullshit. They take advantage of the fact that everybody wants the easy way out. Bunch of suckers.

I agree with you. The Internet is weird in itself.

Because youtube users are there to waste their time, not to learn.

Financial freedom is something everyone wants, not only that but the impulse to buy and possess things is second to nature, it's almost natural to humans. The materialistic things that are in the advertisements are usually the most expensive things, but more importantly the things that display materialistic wealth. Since our world has become more isolated and less socially equal, the appeal and obtainment of luxury brand items has helped to fill the void of our need to belong, be loved and have higher self-esteem and status in todays society.

Some of these "Entrepreneurs" can see this as a good business or money making opportunity, so they go for it. Preying on human nature by showcasing how easy it is to make money, how you can work at home and make enough money to be financially free, showcasing all the cars and properties they own and how often they go on vacation. Sure, half of these "Entrepreneurs" could be a knockoff Tai Lopez and put on a persona of a wealthy independent person instead they're struggling financially.

It's society. A decent percentage of the human population are only out for their own asses and only care about power, status, popularity and wealth. Nevertheless, people gotta do what they have to do to in order to survive, ethics and morality can only go to such an extent.

I like the Lambo in the background when they are talking. Everybody wants to impress.

That's the same as selling "get rich" e-books, though. If those kinds of videos generate views, those generate ad revenue and make the YouTuber money. The same applies to self-help books, etc. People feel better listening to this stuff, so it sells, so it's worth it to whoever is creating the content.

That's not to say all of it is useless. If it provides a motivation boost and makes you do something productive you couldn't be bothered to do before then I guess it was a positive. But, generally, if you need this kind of video to get motivated it's going to be short lived.
