We won't ever sell any data, but instead offer sellers the ability to promote their listing in various ways in exchange for a small fee. It's comparable to how the admin of this forum makes money: people can sticky threads in specific categories, add nice badges and whatnot.

We've got a similar system: people can sticky listings in categories, promote their listing on the front page, request a verified seller badge and more to come.

Unfortunately I cannot give any specific information regarding our encryption, but rest assured that any PII is sufficiently encrypted with salting. The remainder of the highlighted section applies to our use of analytical tools, with which we can help our community and improve the marketplace experience. Again, none of this information is shared or sold to any third party, nor will it ever be.

It entirely depends on how well the listing promotion program does, but we don't plan on adding fees for payments any time soon. In addition, we'll be reaching out to the "V3ndor" group very soon with an exclusive guaranteed 2 year 0% fee.

We currently have a rudimentary API live and are fleshing it out as we speak. Are there any specific API calls you'd like to see us implement? Off-site payment processing will certainly be doable with the API, but we'll also be introducing plugins to make it a lot easier to get up and running.
