My friend keeps getting jumped. Should I fight back? - Hack Forums - Mar 19, 2019 Over the course of about a month my friend has been jumped 3 times now by the same people, the most recent one being last night. It started off with them stealing from him while he was in his car, as he was set up by a girl who will be mentioned later on and then escalated to him being jumped by 3 people when he went to meet someone in town. Apparently he asked her who it was who stole from him, as she was the only person who knew he was there and therefor knew who they were as she most likely set him up. This ended in a argument and the reason for him being jumped. Then around 2-3 weeks ago after coming home from a night out, he found himself at the train station with a group of 8 people following him, shouting abuse and so on. He walked across the bridge going over the tracks and got to the second, lower section, of stairs when one of the group pushed him from behind which resulted in him cracking his head open and injuring his knee. At this point I told him I can help and get a group together to retaliate and hopefully stop what was happening, however he said no due to not wanting it to continue. Fast forward to yesterday and just like the last time, he was caught out at the train station again by a large group. He got out of the station and turned around to see someone pointing at him in a crowd of 3-4 people. He knew who they were so started to run until one of them caught up to him and tried swinging but missed. The first one to get to him kept asking for money, even though he didn't have any, and continued to try swinging but was about a ft shorter so didn't have much luck. By this time the rest of the group caught up and surrounded him, still asking for money, and eventually he was hit by one of them and knocked to the ground. My friend woke up with them standing over him saying "Just leave him where he is" and they all walked off. We both know who they are and I see them a lot around the town I live in. They have never tried to do anything to me even though they know who I am and that I am friends with the person they keep jumping. I know that none of them carry any knives or other weapons so there is no worry in being stabbed or seriously injured either. Should I retaliate and go after them or leave it to the police? I have to mention here I live in a very small town and the police presence is pretty much non-existent. RE: My friend keep getting jumped. Should I fight back? - Pain - Mar 19, 2019 Why not call the police after the first time. His car got stolen, that would be the most logical thing to do. Just call the police, not sure if your country has Permission to carry, but you should carry. Probably brandish it when confronted, if legal. RE: My friend keep getting jumped. Sorry I should have been more clear, the car wasn't stolen however the "thieves" reached in through his open window and stole money from him. RE: My friend keep getting jumped. Should I fight back? - Katyuska - Mar 19, 2019 I think it would depend on where you are, your culture, you age and if you aren't against going to the police. If you are from the US you should let your friend handle it with the police if he wants to. Or convince your friend to move. If you are in a third world country where the police are corrupt, you are probably better off negotiating for your friend and if that doesn't work you can fight or convince him to leave or pay the police to go after these guys. I get the feeling that if you do some "gangs of new york" fight thing its just going to continue and escalate until someone is really hurt. RE: My friend keep getting jumped. Should I fight back? - SIM-3970461 - Mar 19, 2019 You're his friend right? Instead of helping him through any of those times you decide to ask a forum on what you should do.. If you're his friend, either help him fight or just call the cops. Simple RE: My friend keep getting jumped. I live in the UK, however in my town you see a policeman once a month if that. I also feel like is has got to that point of him getting really hurt as he was pushed all the way down the stairs and cracked his head open on the concrete floor. It's a hard situation, I personally have so much hate for those doing it and would love nothing more than to retaliate but being 20 I have the sense to assess if it's worth it or not. RE: My friend keep getting jumped. Should I fight back? - Pikachu - Mar 19, 2019 You should start accompanying him but keep a distance so they don't know you two are together. Have a camera and record everything, as soon as you notice a suspicious group of people, continue recording and call the cops. The video will ensure you got proof of the incident. That's a good idea, I know as fact the cameras at train stations are usually shit and don't usually get anything from the platforms. RE: My friend keep getting jumped. Should I fight back? - Two-Ton 21 - Mar 19, 2019 Going to the police will just make it worse. Have your friend carry a knife. Sounds like it's time to end some lives. Where I come from you always stick up for yourself, no matter the consequences. How many people do you guys have in your crew? Prepare for war. You fuck with my friends, I fuck with you. Stay strong, hold your ground, if they test you, you go fucking ape on them. People in school didn't mess with me because they knew I was willing to do anything. I'm also crazy though so you may not want to take my advice. The last kid that made fun of my friends got his skull smashed in. He thanked me afterwards. Literally started buying me drinks and hooking me up. It's because I stuck to my word. I also having nothing to lose and severe ptsd... I honestly don't know what you should do. I just know what I would do. RE: My friend keep getting jumped. Should I fight back? - Hack Forums - Mar 19, 2019 (Mar 19, 2019 02:24 PM)Two-Ton 21 Wrote: Going to the police will just make it worse. I have 5-6 people who I know will back me and come fuck them up whenever. But it's the thought of, will it stop, or will it just make things worse. If I did go after them I'm planning to do enough to scare them and stop them fucking with him. They don't carry so we could easily rock up with a few bats and put a stop to it but someone told me they called the police the last time someone went after them. They really are fucking pussies but it's working out if it's worth it that's the problem. If it was me they went after I wouldn't hesitate for a second, I would come guns fucking blazing IDGAF but when it's someone else you are looking out for but don't want worse for them it makes it more complicated. Good luck man, I hope you can figure something out. Stay level headed, use your wit. Sometimes it's best to let things go, I simply can't, I'd rather die than take shit for one second.
