My solution to Ub3r vs r00t - I.M.P - Mar 26, 2019
wether or not this is still an issue I’d still love to see this in effect so I’ll state my solution anyways! Plus I know d00t is still being deleted and I see people happy it’s back so this felt appropriate
lately there’s been a “debate” over the ranks of Ub3r and r00t. And I think I have a pretty fair and just desciscion to make everyone happy, with r00t being added back I can I’ve already heard people say “I wish I was still ub3r” and you know what, why not?
To cut down to my point. I think giving a sort of “token” or “coin” to all r00ts and ub3rs, and basically this “Token” allows you to choose your final rank. once placed in the CP (or PMs or wherever) it is valid for (insert fair amount of days here) so if an Ub3r wants to be r00t (or vice versa) they activate the token, it disappears. all descisions are final.
I truly feel this is the safest and easiest way of solving this issue of Ub3r vs r00t. But that’s up to the community and staff. I hope all who took the time to read this are having a wonderful day!

I already spoke with Omni, doesn’t matter either way, r00t is still a rank at this moment. There’s still time to make the suggestion

I like the idea. Before the rollback, on the last thread Omni posted, there were a lot of people making some valid points and great suggestions.
If people have more ideas to add, now is the time to suggest!
Soon R00t will be gone forever :-(

As long as I don't lose my Ub3r then I don't really care what happens.
Omni sounds like he's pretty set on there being only one group and it's going to be Ub3r. There was too much backlash and apparently, the majority of the community want Ub3r to remain the best group.

Yes, even in hindsight and with having to do all the work again to delete r00t, it's still a good decision.
