Have you heard of Churning? Can you properly manage your finances? Here is a method. - webdev77 - Mar 31, 2019 Many of you may know that credit cards offer sign up bonuses for spending a certain amount within a few months of opening. Churning is the process of repeatedly cashing in on all these offers to the tune of a few thousand dollars a year in savings. In order to be able to take advantage of such sign up offers, you must have a good/excellent credit score and no history of missed and late payments. Having a high paying stable job also helps you get approved for more cards more easily. There are limits on how often you can sign up for credit cards and how often you can close them out without affecting your credit score severely. There are VERY LARGE RISKS involved in churning if you are unaware of how to responsibly handle your credit cards. Missing a payment on one that you only used a few times can cost you dearly. Chase and American Express typically have the best offers available, although MasterCard's options with $495/$995 annual fees can be worth it if you are a frequent flyer. Everyone's situation will be different based on their own spending habits. RE: Have you heard of Churning? Can you properly manage your finances?
