I'm going through a PayPal with a customer who scammed me and is fighting the dispute until the day he dies. He doesn't have any info on what the money was for or anything in that matter yet it seems like PayPal is wanting to lean in his favor, any possible help from anyone experienced with this?

Keep calling support until somebody gives you the proper customer support you are looking for.
Probably all you really can do. Always tell the truth, you have less risk that way.
I would say it is definitely not the best platform for accepting payments if you have the possibility of being scammed or charged back 😉 I know you can not know this with everyone, but yea try your best not to use PayPal I have had bad experiences.
Crypto is ultimately better, alongside a proper escrow service or middleman, always makes me feel safer with transactions.
