Have you ever been to Royal Albert Hall? (London) - isu - Apr 8, 2019
I'm looking for people who have been there to a concert etc.
Do they check if the name on the ticket matches the ID? I'm having a small issue with Ticketmaster and they won't change the name on the ticket (the tickets have been already sent out). It's only the first name which is wrong though, the surname is the same. Do you think they will let me in?

It's worth a shot bro, my friends have got in with the complete wrong name before, you should be alright. They will probably think you have bought a resold ticket online or outside the venue, which is obviously illegal / unethical but incredibly common so you've got a good shot at getting in especially if the second name is correct

I've been to the proms once. I don't believe they checked the name on the ID when I was there.

How wrong? Is the name change a complete change? Or just a typo?
They don't always get shitty, but can.

Used my dad's card and they ship to the billing address, so the tickets kinda belong to my dad (lol). But I've called them and they sent me a "Letter of Authorisation" which I need to bring signed and it'll be fine :)
