Anyone studies Nursing/Medical Field? - Realing - Apr 15, 2019 Is anyone on here working or studying in the medical field such as nursing, doctor, etc.? RE: Anyone studies Nursing/Medical Field? - sam135 - Apr 16, 2019 Yup. I am studying medicine. Pretty hard tho. ? RE: Anyone studies Nursing/Medical Field? - Nima304 - Apr 17, 2019 I'm studying to be an EMT just to volunteer. My test is 14 May. RE: Anyone studies Nursing/Medical Field? - Polymath - Apr 18, 2019 I am not studying in the medical field but pretty much half my family are. My grandfather is a GP and his brother a well renowned psychiatrist who past away. I heard the Medicine sector is quite difficult to get into, but its a whole lot of memorising and reading books. So if you have strong memorisation then its not really that difficult. Also I recommend anyone who wants to get into Medicine, getting some work experience at a clinic or hospital, even if its a receptionist or assisting the manager you still surround yourself with medicine related things. I did work experience in my grandfathers clinic for few months, learnt a shit load about prescriptions, medicine and things. RE: Anyone studies Nursing/Medical Field? - 123 - Apr 19, 2019 I am studying medicine OP. It's quite interesting tbh RE: Anyone studies Nursing/Medical Field? - princeofpeace - Apr 19, 2019 I am not doing any of that, luckily. Tons of doctors are stressed and have to deal with tons of BS. I know a ton of doctors and it's a common occurrence to have people get upset by basic logic. Like, if the doctor has to delay the appointment for a few minutes, it's a big deal for the person, as if the doctor should just go "lol ur dying but I don't want to be late to my next appointment with the next fat patient who is also dying" People over 300 pounds have lots of medical issues and blame the doctors. They will do almost anything to get a lawyer and try to sue the doctor. Lots of lawyers accept the cases, no matter how ridiculous it is. The issue with being fat is that if there is a serious medical issue there is a good chance you can't be helped, even if it's the best doctor in the city or the world. Even the top doctors have had a few patients die on them, usually because of diseases and diabetes. Diabetes literally causes amputations. I thought that was just a troll my parents did to scare me into not eating as much. |
