#1: Every server uses 1.8 as its core, and 1.8 is almost 6 fucking years old now. It is like using Debian Rex (Debian 1.2 from 1996).
#2: Most hacked client developers have stopped releasing public clients, have gone off to university to study computer science or some shit, or have quit completely. This means that there is a new generation coming with no knowledge in how to make Minecraft hacked clients, and they will need an elder to teach them.
#3: Servers use too many fucking custom plugins and plugins in general. Custom enchantments, custom biomes, etc. ruin the actual Minecraft experience and delete the old-fashioned, well-loved Minecraft game and replace it with stupid garbage minigames like Custom Enchantment Factions or Pirate Ships.
#4: Minecraft has gotten many stupid items and blocks and changes that it is no longer Minecraft. Minecraft 1.9 changed the game forever and made it shitty. ViaVersion fucked over all servers and hacked client development is even more time consuming and tedious.
#5: Servers are practically ungriefable nowadays.
#6: When Notch left, things started going to shit.
#7: When Microsoft bought Minecraft, it instantly turned into literal shit and has gotten the "Microsoft Plague."
First, Microsoft infects Skype and turns it into shit. Then, they go after Minecraft, turn it into shit. Now, they even turned their own Windows OS into literal shit (but thanks to Windows 10 is the reason I ever started using Linux and FreeBSD in the first place).
Windows XP and Windows 7 were the ONLY good Windows versions for the modern era. Hell, the Windows XP Internet Explorer can't even load up HackForums properly or many other websites anymore.
Minecraft was created in good faith, but has gone to absolute shit. It is now just pay-to-win servers, and shit f4ggy YouTubers.

You know, I typically don't get involved with rants like these but I can't help but agree with you. I'm on my way out of Windows as well. I don't like what Microsoft has become.

Literally, Remember when it was just average for your skype to crash during calls and everyone sounded like a connect mic. Skype was never good lmao.
