Too bad nobody joined me Whats the forums thoughts on this? After noticing the term "Smart Contract" pop up more and more, including hints from Samsung and Microsoft, I did more research and decided I wasn't going to miss out on being early to this technology. Was trading at .38 cents when I posted this thread. Now at .93 and rising. Mainnet Rollout May 30th, it's just beginning. Get in while you still can under $1 :) Here is the link to the team (scroll to bottom) https://chain.link/company/ , including Evan Cheng the Director of Engineering at Facebook, Yorke Rhodes the co-inventor of Microsoft's Blockchain, Tom Gosner the founder of DocuSign, and Hudson Jameson the Community Manager for Ethereum. When people way smarter than me, and way busier than me are spending their time and resources on ChainLink such as The Director of Engineering at Facebook, etc etc. It really shows the powers at work here behind the scenes. ChainLink/SmartContracts are very anti-hype. They hardly release any info as it is and the marketing campaign doesn't kick in until Ethereum Mainnet rolls out May 30th. ChainLink (or Smart Contracts) stands to solve a multi-billion dollar problem. You know how the rest of the saying goes.
RE: $LINK - Chainlink - Handsome-Jack - Apr 25, 2019 With the analysis that a lot of the worlds economy is going to go on the blockchain in the next few decades, I wouldn't miss out. Holding a small chunk as suicide insurance. RE: $LINK - Chainlink - Respect - May 9, 2019 Have significantly increased my holdings, and LINK is now up and hovering around .70 cents, with a full 10 days of conferences and announcements to go. Do some reading on the billions of dollars in solutions SmartContracts are providing :) 30% or not, you'd rather have a stack of Link to sell at $1k than what you sold at 80 cents RE: $LINK - Chainlink - Monati Melano - May 14, 2019 100$ eth to link where would i do that? What are the best and cheapest options? Als link uses eth platform? RE: $LINK - Chainlink - Respect - May 14, 2019 (May 14, 2019 02:08 PM)DB1000 Wrote: 100$ eth to link where would i do that? Don't sleep on this :) RE: $LINK - Chainlink - Respect - May 19, 2019 Officially over $1 130% increase since I posted this thread. Too bad nobody joined me RE: $LINK - Chainlink - seanizcool - May 19, 2019 Of all the times I don't go on HF! Gonna wait a day, see where it's at, and probably pick some up RE: $LINK - Chainlink - Omniscient - May 19, 2019 I saw this thread when you posted it but didn't have time to research or comment. 1. Company registered in Cayman Islands. That's a good thing. It's #4 banking country in the world. The address is actually a law office in a high-end district. Unsure how far their banking relationships go but it's a start. 2. Website is very nice with good information and well-written. It's impressive. 3. Works off Ethereum chain. That's good too but imho there is a limit in value to ERC-20 tokens. 4. "Chainlink was developed as the first decentralized oracle that can provide external data to smart contracts" that's from their site and is a brief description to what the technology does. 5. Where is the team and developers? I am finding it hard to locate them. This is a bad thing. Any blockchain is only as good as the leaders imho. So far they seem faceless. This is a negative. I been wrong about Alt-coins before like Waltonchain which ironically this reminds me of. https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5708465 You can see it was $1.45 when that thread started (Sept 2017) and then ran high but today it's only at $2.20. A lot of these ICO's might be coming now that blockchain is hot again. I stay clear of anything that's not new technology and innovative. If you want to gamble on speculation and hype then enjoy the ride wherever it takes you. Where we are at now is much much more structured, with a lot more subtance behind it as well. But I'm not sure what you mean about $2.20, we're currently at $1.015 at the time I'm posting this
RE: $LINK - Chainlink aka SmartContracts - Omniscient - May 19, 2019 Quote:Yorke Rhodes I don't see him on team page. Quote:Evan Cheng Only an advisor. Quote:Tom Gosner Advisor... Quote:Hudson Jameson Advisor again.... I am even less impressed now that I've read their team page. Quote:ChainLink (or Smart Contracts) stands to solve a multi-billion dollar problem. It's an ETH token so technically ETH Smart Contracts are what solve the problem and I see nothing unique about Chainlink.
