Best business strategy? - Rock™ - May 1, 2019 I am making a cheap phone number renting service for sms, should it be $1 per sms recieved or what should i charge RE: Best business strategy? - BTC - May 1, 2019 I think $1 is a bit much compared to other services such as textverified. Perhaps lower your prices to be undertake sales from your competitors. Do not undersell, or oversell, you need to get a feel for your market and your userbase as to what they are willing to pay. If the platform is better than competitors, then keeping same price point is reasonable. Judging by the fact you are likely just starting out, I assume perhaps it may not be as advanced / complete of a system compared to some of your competitors. If however my ignorance is leading me to be incorrect, and you have some substantial, proprietary features to your platform that beat competitors...then I would say $1 is reasonable. Well, my numbers you can keep, so $1 for unlimited texts ($1 per month). Depending on your platform, and how HQ the numbers are, you could charge more by far. Look at some services like Burner,Textnow they make a killing off their HQ private numbers opposed to recompiled garbage numbers which can not be used for 99% of verification services. Also, they are customizable, like custom area code. they can send messages free (up to 50 per month) and then after for a small fee ($0.01 per message outbound). Unlimited messages inbound for life. You require to test with all the most popular services that require verification. If you have done thorough testing and works with some of the top platforms, then you should allow people to verify specifically for that service and charge different prices based on different services. For example some ewhores would probably pay more for [BRAND NAME REMOVED]/[BRAND NAME REMOVED] verification opposed to somebody trying to verify their Alibaba account. If you can verify Google, Authy, other services like that, then you can definitely charge much more. RE: Best business strategy? - Zoomers - May 1, 2019 Do you get the sms free? Is it automated? These are HQ numbers, they are not free for me. I do make a profit with $1 though. I am thinking maybe $5 now RE: Best business strategy? - BITCHLESS - May 1, 2019 It's better to rent phone number. For 5$ you have a private phone number. And you pay for example 0.03$ per every sms RE: Best business strategy? - TigerBark - May 1, 2019 (May 1, 2019 12:06 PM)Rock™ Wrote: It will be an online automated panel. I am thinking maybe $5 now lol no one paying $5 for a number unless they can keep it forever but i have a feeling you will resell same numbers over and over again to gain more profit RE: Best business strategy? - Rock™ - May 1, 2019 (May 1, 2019 12:21 PM)TigerBark Wrote: lol no one paying $5 for a number unless they can keep it forever but i have a feeling you will resell same numbers over and over again to gain more profit not true?
