ISIS & Telegram - Stone - May 3, 2019 I've recently been researching on the Islamic State (IS) activities after the Easter Bombings in Sri Lanka. I found out that the news agency, "Amaq" ( IS's Media Wing) was the platform where IS attacks were claimed. After some more digging I found out that, this agency has a private telegram channel and they now have an android app. The download link is passed on via terrorists groups on telegram. In a nutshell, IS mainly uses its telegram channels to orchestrate their attacks. What do you all think about this? RE: ISIS & Telegram - Scooby - May 3, 2019 I think it makes signal look a bit better lol. In all seriousness, this is the double edged sword you face with any conflict of privacy to security. In a nutshell, terrorists, whistleblowers, and citizens under a virtual police state all rely on the same underpinning technologies to access free and private communication. It's a tricky situation with no good answer, in my opinion. RE: ISIS & Telegram - Psychedelic. - May 3, 2019 not surprised, send to fbi plz |
