[BETA/WIP] Foruums.com Project - Helpers wanted - Pikzul - May 11, 2019
I'm working on a new project which is more-so on the general discussion of things not hacking/leaking etc.
The site is http://www.Foruums.com/
I know it is hard to grow a forum, I plan on buying several ads and promos to get it off the ground.
If anyone is interested in joining , sign up - and I also need some helpers/mods ofc.

What's the main focus of the forum? It's good that you are ready to spend time and effort to it. In my opinion, the theme looks a bit generic, you'll need a logo-banner to make it stand out and have some content ready for new members. The domain feels a bit odd but I could live with that. I wish you the best of luck with the site. Keep us updated with any improvements.

Your theme has potential, it just isn't anything special in it's current state. It'll take some work but I can see it being pretty nice with the right changes.

Hire some writers to populate your content or just get down to it. Get Photoshop, find a good font, write your forum name in logo-looking font. That will enhance it surely. Test different icons for topics too, but mainly focus on modifying the design a bit and populating the content.

If you're going to have profile pics shown on the index at least have a profile pic for yourself. Looks very unprofessional and like you don't try very hard at all.

I like the subtle animation at the top of the page, and actually think the URL is pretty cool! Good luck with your forum. I think it would be a lot more professional if you got SSL for your website though (so you have https)

The template looks a little generic, but it's not over the top generic.
A colorful logo might spice it up a notch.

I think the base template is good and simple for your forum's purpose, however I have a few suggestions.
- Change the color from the grey shade that you currently have. Grey seems really boring and doesn't inspire much creativity on a forum, where writing is the key. I would suggest going to any HEX site such as december.com and experimenting with colors until you find the right one(s).
- Get a real, and creative, logo. The current text-based logo just doesn't cut it and looks a little unprofessional. I would suggest matching the logo to the color scheme you select.
- Somehow make the Login and Register buttons bigger and more visible in order to promote engagement for logged out users.
