Mr Professor - Why doesn't he get banned? / UID=2589435 - WhatTheGox - May 23, 2019 EDIT I notice omniscient doing a lot of effort in advertising HF. Well omniscient, Mr Professor does a lot of effort in welcoming those exact same new members by scamming them and telling them to fuck off and that what he did is normal on HF. Omniscient, mr professor costs you funds wether you like it or not, he scams those new members that you paid for getting in here. My question is simple... Why doesn't Mr professor gets banned? Is he "special" or something? https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5972440 He clearly scammed and social engineered multiple people as you can see in the above thread. He doesn't care to solve his shit properly and tryes to hide behind his thread TOS which is bullshit because his thread is social engineering and misleading people anyways, the contract system should be above that. In the thread above see multiple victims of him and i'm pretty certain that he made more. Other threads regarding Mr Professor https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5970666 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5957501 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5954343 https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5938590 So why is this guy so protected? Is he a 2nd account from Staff? Friend from staff? Are high donators protected here, is he one? It can't be that he's contributing a lot to the community, he only has sales and exchange threads up. I'm very curious what the deal is with this guy exactly. RE: Mr Professor - Why doesn't he get banned? - The.Businessman - May 23, 2019 It's how it works here. People sell ebooks and make their tos in a way that you can't get a refund even if you didn't receive anything. It's baffling how people lack common sense, If he makes XXXXX per month, Why sell for $40? RE: Mr Professor - Why doesn't he get banned? - James Burnham - May 23, 2019 No, nobody is protected or special here. Many ex-"mentors" got closed. Previous staff member got marketplace banned. If Professor really scams, then the victims have to make a better effort in proving it. They have to include screenshots and explain in an easy to understand manner what happened. RE: Mr Professor - Why doesn't he get banned? - AngrySpencer - May 23, 2019 he should be banned, no doubt RE: Mr Professor - Why doesn't he get banned? - WhatTheGox - May 23, 2019 (May 23, 2019 05:52 AM)Burnham Wrote: No, nobody is protected or special here. I got scammed few days ago and I got banished for it xD I was new to the forum, didn't know about rules and anything, but I made a deal that didn't involve a contract (I didn't knew they even existed) and I got banished for not using them. Even though I can't find any traces of it's being a rule violation not to use contracts. However I can find that it says contracts are recommended, but not bullet proof.. but nothing about it being a violation not using it.. So.. kinda funny way to get banished.. for being too new to this forum xD RE: Mr Professor - Why doesn't he get banned? - Bill Gates - May 23, 2019 (May 23, 2019 05:59 AM)AngrySpencer Wrote: I got scammed few days ago and I got banished for it xD So you create a new account and ban evade, guess what happens to people that do that? They get banned.... My first ban was unjustified, there are no rules to support that banishment, and neither is it nice nor logical to throw out new members for minor things that isn't even dangerous. It's not like I tried to hack admins, spread viruses and completely ruin the forum.. I was trying to buy something and I got banished because I got scammed.. RE: Mr Professor - Why doesn't he get banned? - AeroBlue - May 23, 2019 I would tread carefully on this topic if I were you, there are a lot of things in this world that should happen, but won't. I hate to see people fall for things like this as well but hopefully, they will learn their lesson at some point. I have seen a lot of scammers getting closed because some victims put effort in putting the pieces together and helping others understand what happened. If you just make angry comments that are hard to read and you also leak, you will be considered as a flamer/leaker. While in the meanwhile the scammers get protected, and the victim who is in panick gets banned? or so it seems? People are banned for breaking rules. Simple as that. Nobody here is "protected" RE: Mr Professor - Why doesn't he get banned? / UID=2589435 - TCP - May 23, 2019 Most of his disputes are either resolved or contested, as a rule of matter ebooks are never worth buying but people still believe in get-rich-quick schemes RE: Mr Professor - Why doesn't he get banned? / UID=2589435 - WhatTheGox - May 23, 2019 (May 23, 2019 06:18 AM)BTC Wrote: People are banned for breaking rules. And it's not against the rules to social engineer the community, false advertise a product (therefore scam) and not properly dealing with a deal dispute of an officially site created contract? It's the same as selling Harry potter books as horror books. It's scamming (May 23, 2019 06:20 AM)DNA Wrote: Most of his disputes are either resolved or contested, as a rule of matter ebooks are never worth buying but people still believe in get-rich-quick schemes When he almost gets banned he refunds, however this last deal dispute is not resolved and he is also not planning on doing so. The moment a staff disputed on him he instantly refunded lol, he clearly picks who to refund and who not based on community status. In the meanwhile he continues selling the same shit so only new members get tricked into buying since old members are smart enough not to buy his crap. |
