G2A issue with new phone - JinxyHF2 - May 23, 2019

Before some moron post with the whole, "YoU'rE nOt SuPpOseD to MulTi AcCoUnT."
I know. I've never broken a rule in the 10 years I've been on this forum. I've always used the contact form in the past when I've had account issues.
I've used the contact form multiple times in the past week and nobody is responding to me. Back in the day, I'd hear something back same day always. My only other choice was creating this to contact a moderator about my issue.

ISSUE: I broke my old phone with my 2FA. I have a new phone however, Authy data doesn't transfer between phones for me. I wasn't aware there was a setting for that at the time I broke it.

How can I get back into my account? And why are the Mods/Admin not responding to contact form requests?

uid=700875

^That's mine. Please help guys. I've been here a long time, put a lot of money into this place, made a lot of money from this place.
Thanks.

I guess I'll wait for the ban hammer or wait for actual support.

From Help Docs:
If you have lost access to your account because of credentials like your email, password, or 2FA we will not assist you with account recovery.

Sorry, your account is gone if you don't get the data back by fixing the old phone

This has been explained many times.

If you didn't move to authy, say goodbye to your account.

Incorrect you are actually allowed to make a second account if you've lost access to your old account however, you should of named it "NAME_TEMP" but I'm sure it'll be sorted.

Good luck.

Why do people use g2a when Authy lets you transfer the data between however many devices you have the app on? Use authy!!!!

I was using Authy. I guess I meant to say 2fa instead of g2a in my post.

You can use authy on multiple devices so...... how are you locked out?

If you're using authy, just download it on desktop and get the code.

This. That’s how I got access when I got a new phone. Shit my pants but was able to recover everything just by redownloading the app.

Device sharing is a setting, which you have to opt in. I never did. When Authy was new it didn't have that setting. I didn't know it was a thing until the other day.

I got locked out too.
