Something I noticed when copying a [code] embed - Cooligan - May 25, 2019 When I was making a reply just now, I noticed that if you click copy on your embedded code, it will allow you to continuously click copy with no limits as you can see below. Which I can somehow see as a potential for abuse with this. I purposely clicked it quite a few times to see if it would stop after 10 or 12, however it allows you to keep clicking over and over. Not sure if you guys already know about this, but I just figured I'd let you know about it just in case you didn't because of any potential for it to be abused. (image below) ![]() Just something I felt that should be brought to your guys attention just in case it wasn't already mentioned previously. RE: Something I noticed when copying a [code] embed - Nachfolger - May 25, 2019 How is copying code abusing anything? It's all performed client side, the only thing you could possibly hurt is your own RAM consumption. To be completely honest I had no idea whether or not it could possibly cause a potential for abuse site side so that's my main reason for posting this. Sort of like how the bans.php page caused so much lag and load times because of the size of the page. I didn't know if this was anything similar to that or not so I felt it was better safe than sorry to let them know about it just in case they didn't already. |
