Did you write the book or?

As someone who's knowledgeable on the subject as well, I'd be willing to take a vouch copy and leave an honest review on the quality of the ebook.

That being said, if you're claiming that you can get around gov't surveillance using the techniques here, I will be really critical if there are any technical or hypothetical flaws.

Let me know.

Nope. It is a official book. Is this okay in this forum?

I think you're better off finding something other than that to sell, no one is going to pay 8$ for that when they can go on deepweb and get it for free.

RE: E-Book - The Art of Invisibility - Faith Connors - May 30, 2019

Like he mentioned, he didn't write this book.
This is the one that you'll find on Amazon when searching for the title. I'd even consider it public at this point since it's extremely easy to find the exact file I was sent on google.

The Good:
There is lots of good content in here. It even does cover DNS leaking and how things like SSL don't really hide anything. All sorts of browser-tracking techniques are covered, acknowledged, and are generally provided with some sort of solution (at least at the user-level, some of the problems at ISP-level aren't resolved.) IT covers why you should be safe on public wifi. It even goes over how EXIF data is used for tracing someone, albeit this is a bit of an outdated technique given most social media does strip EXIF tags once uploading the photo.

The Bad:
Unfortunately there also seems to be lots of lowkey promotion/sponsorship to the author, since there are better open-source alternatives to software and services he mentions. Of course he acknowledges the flaws that proprietary services may have (ie. AdBlock Plus tracks you while stopping trackers) but does not add that uBlock is an even better alternative that doesn't track (and is marginally faster at doing what it does.) On top of this, the unresolved parts are simply left at that. eg. Someone pays a ransomware ransom in BTC and the author claims that it can possibly be tracked after lots of hard work, but doesn't even begin to explain how.

The Ugly:
Too many case-studies. The author keeps bringing in more and more anecdotes and stories which are only half-relevant to the subject matter at hand, and not only does it distract us from what's supposed to be taught, it also tends to raise more questions than it answers. Bad writing style overall.

That's it for my review. Keep in mind that OP did not write this and the selling of this book qualifies as piracy so I'm expecting this to get closed really fast. Even then, 8$ for a PDF easily found online is a bit steep.
