Inspect Element Prevention? - Money- - Jun 2, 2019 Assuming with inspect element you can always bypass some validation forms or even modify values in hidden fields etc. I want to ask what's the best approach in disabling or prevent inspect element on your website? Perhaps a client-side Java-Script function to disable it? By the way people could always download your source code and save it as html and modify offline from there? With Java-script code in preventing it but that will cause the client-side to disable Java-script on their browser and still manage to inspect element? What's the best approach? Coding wise. RE: Inspect Element Prevention? - Nachfolger - Jun 2, 2019 You can't, and if you feel as if modifying a simple HTML element will expose a security vulnerability in your website, you're doing something SERIOUSLY wrong. So you disable the right-click context menu, then the user can just use the browser shortcut. Ok, now you've blocked ALL possible browser shortcuts, I can leave your website, open the debug menu, and navigate back to your site with it still open. Boom, now you're haxed. |
