Fix read-only USB flash drive. - hack3rcon - Jun 9, 2019

Hello.
How can I fix read-only USB flash drive? Any special tools existed? I tested some commands like "dd", " dosfsck", "fsck" and "hdparm" but problem not solved.

Any idea?

Thanks.

Do you need to keep the data on the flash drive? And what OS are you able to run fixes on?

No, data on it are not important. I'm using Debian.

The model is ADATA C008. I want to fix it by Linux.

I'd use a live install DVD of some kind like Mint/Ubuntu/Debian or whatever and launch gparted after inserting the USB. Attempt to format the USB there.

No, not worked. I fixed it by a tool that provided by ADATA company, but I wanted to do it under the Linux.
