There's a nice tutorial from Linux Magazine for putzing around with Scapy.

Just keep your eyes open because there are a few typos, and the author isn't very careful with the way they post their code, so it's unlikely to run if you just copy and paste. You'll need to utilize your noggin a bit as you go through, but it's good enough to learn a few simple things.

having line numbers on code snips 0.0 still an interesting read!
edit: had a run through the first examples just not and the code does have bugs but simple enough o fix :)
