i am a noob trying to learn hacking and finding vulneravilities in wifi networks. there must be a lot of people like me.
my question is what would be the best and easiest to approach this. there are so many programs and turorials it
confuses me. i am running kali of course. so, could you be so kind and give some advise to all on us beginners? :\

Try reaver, it's the easiest.

I am having issues using reaver, I am on a Mac, is that an issue.

Well ask in the correct forum is a good idea.
First thing first. Read the stickie, second look around in the SF. the Wifi hacking scene has not changed much the last 2 years or so, so dont be afraid to move back a year or so in your hunt for anwsers

i am truly sorry if the thread is in the wrong place! i appreciate for the feedback and the fact you helped me about telling about the hacking scene, i will be more open to older stuff. my intention is make a thread where noobs ask questions and get answers. i know its the lazy way but on the other hand its a way to spread info more widely and get ppl educted faster.
