Ryzen 3rd series or more accurate 3600. - mitagatasl1998 - Jul 24, 2019

What do you think about the new generation Ryzen 3rd series? The better question is Ryzen>Intel (for the moment)? There are no 2 opinions, intel are really good in making the products durable, but AMD not offering lower prices with almost same quality or even better? 😏

I think AMD have done a great job at catching up to intel. Looks like Intel is slightly better at gaming, while AMD seems to be better at most other tasks. Both are good choices but I believe AMD is the better buy at the moment, especially with current prices (3900x is an absolute beast, especially at just $500 USD!)

I'm about to buy one of their CPU's. They have greatly improved their game for software/webdevelopers. Hence a 3900X is about right for me. Contemplating on waiting for the 3950X.. But then again, when will those ever be in stock? Next year?

I'm not sure what you mean by durable for solid state silicon electronics. It's not like either Intel or AMD has a problem with CPUs failing prematurely.

AMD unquestionably offers lower pricing for equal or greater performance than Intel does at this point in time. That's just a straight up fact backed up by all reviewers and benchmarks across the tech community as a whole.
