Are Immoral Methods The New Wave On HF? - jasonleto - Jul 29, 2019 Been seeing more and more sales thread of sellers selling "immoral, scummy, unethical" methods. I don't know but there have been a few times were I bought something and it was straight up scamming people. There is a difference between illegal and black hat. BH is breaking terms of service, it seems a lot of people don't know the difference anymore between the 2. and most of the methods come at a high price, which is fine but since you don't know "how" immoral it is you kinda fuked when you buy it. You can't ask for a refund because then they say that they put BH in the title and now you know the method blablabla. a few months back I bought a botting mentorship and the guy's method was. infect start up coin business and transfer the coins to your wallet. I told him thats not BH anymore thats straight up stealing and illegal, he geniually didn't see the difference. Things are getting a little bit out of hand... again. RE: Are Immoral Methods The New Wave On HF? - jasonleto - Jul 29, 2019 No buying links to your website is blackhat. Bh never had anything to do with hacking. You realise creating manual backlinks is not illegal. RE: Are Immoral Methods The New Wave On HF? - Porn - Jul 30, 2019 The immoral and unethical methods people are selling are called greyhat methods. Some methods include abusing support, selling something that's not genuine, or straight up scamming people from another forum. All of those scummy methods are greyhat, nothing will happen. It's not blackhat until you know if you get caught you might do 5-10 years in federal prison. (operating large botnet, exploiting banks, harvesting credit cards, etc.) RE: Are Immoral Methods The New Wave On HF? - Pronouncer - Jul 30, 2019 (Jul 30, 2019 08:53 AM)Porn Wrote: The immoral and unethical methods people are selling are called greyhat methods. (operating large botnet, exploiting banks, harvesting credit cards, etc.) Abusing support = Social Engineering = Blackhat Selling non genguine items = Blackhat and stealing Scamming = Stealing = Blackhat Either of these can end up in a jail sentance. By definition Grey hat = Hacking for a better cause/reason EG political hacking. Blackhat = hacking for personal/monetary gain Whitehat = Legal hacking where you are licensed. Scamming, SE, Stealing, Fraud is not grey hat its all blackhat. Nobody will go to jail for selling non genuine items or scamming on these cracking/hacking forums. The worse case scenario is they take you to small claims court and you have to pay $500 fine. But.. they probably won't even live in the same country so that won't even happen lol. These methods that include stealing, scamming, social engineering and committing fraud can definitely get you in trouble and they are not "greyhat". I'd say that anything that is illegal is blackhat, I know someone who tried to sell AutoCAD keys on eBay and got sued. You never know what companies can do. However, scamming innocent people and stealing their hard-earned money is a whole new level of fucked up and I'd never do it. If you bought a blackhat/greyhat method and expected something legal & ethical then you're 100% dumb. RE: Are Immoral Methods The New Wave On HF? - jasonleto - Jul 30, 2019 i always knew HF was a but different but hearing what you guys find BH is eye opening. Selling non genguine items = Blackhat and stealing Scamming = Stealing = Blackhat Jesus those things are against the law, thats not BH anymore that's a ticket to jail. If we consider breaking tos as blackhat, every single method being sold on hackforums right now is blackhat. The tos on any website can be very strict, if you mistype your legal name by accident when registering you broke tos that is blackhat? It is very easy to break tos sometimes you don't even know your doing it. Very rarely will someone take you to court much less will you see jail time for a breach of TOS. It seems greyhat has fallen out of use on the forum. Used for when things are frowned upon but won't necessarily get you in trouble. Whitehat- Completely legal and no one will care what you do Greyhat- Actions are usually frowned upon but most likely won't get you in trouble Blackhat- Illegal actions which will definitely land you in trouble |
