I'm sure most of the sellers had that one guy asking for free copy until he makes the amount you're selling it for. After that he promises to pay you back with money he earned from your method.
What are your opinions on this?
I feel like a scammer if I refuse, but then again it's such a stupid proposal because there is no way I could trust a random guy to pay me back or leak it/resell it.

I just ignore them, they're freeloading and 9 times out of 10 won't pay. They'll come back with "oh it didn't work for me" or "I didn't try it out yet" when they're earning privately. If they don't have the money now, then chances are they need that money, and won't be parting with it even after earning, so you'll just be out of pocket and open yourself up to leaking or reselling like you said. You don't owe them a thing, the only times I give in is if a high profile and high quality member wants a copy for vouch purposes, otherwise it's just harmful to business.

And when I tried explaining this to random 0 b-rating user who PM-d me, he answered: "Then you're not confident enough it will work."

free copy should be given to trusted hf members, not to random members who had 0 b-rating.

There is a real sense of entitlement with some new users, and I can only put it down to the generational gap and how so much is handed over free to consumers these days. It's best to put them on ignore and carry on with everyone else, because no one cares about the vouch of a nobody account, it's only users who've been around long enough to have some established business dealings who will have opinions on it that will actually influence sales or decisions.

i had one "trusted" member do this then proceed to use it then leak it. Not realising i hid his user info in hex values

Not worth it at all. The only free copies you should be giving are vouch copies for Trusted vouchers and make sure that they deliver their review in the agreed timeframe or you should proceed to open a DD on that user.

I've never gave away a copy and I don't expect other sellers to either.
That's why I even offered in your thread to pay a discounted rate rather than a free vouch.
I will say I have made deals with people who couldn't pay in full but I expected >50% upfront.
And I always put payback stipulations in the contract 🤝

i have done this few times in the past , but trust me those who say like this are the one who want to work , i have done the same with 10 guys from those 10 only 2 guys have paid me ( i have done a contract with me that he'll 5x of my guide ) and rest 8 never replied back or are complete idioit
so all the other seller out their , dont do this !!

Depends on who the guy is. I have done it in the past for guys that I considered good hf members.

Sold well over 6000 copies to HF members in 9 years. Not a single time did I give out a freebie, not even so-called vouch copy.
