I remember seeing a quiet stage for HF, where the hacking feel was slowly fading away... BUT NOW:

I can see that Omni has invested time, money and effort into HF, I see that he's putting the hack back in hackforums, even added hacking based games(That's pretty bad ass)

So from a past member I can see that the faith and vibe that HF was beginning to fade is coming back quicker than ever. I usually just use the market and lurk the updates, but I'm really surprised at how much more backend and front end features HF has gained.

Note:
Omni is aware that I am not new to HF, I have no plans on getting involved in drama anymore, I plan to buy and sell only so other posts will be little to none.

Omni is aware that I am not new to HF, I have no plans on getting involved in drama anymore, I plan to buy and sell only so other posts will be little to none.

I agree, there is more additions to the site than ever, but in terms of activity, nothing will ever beat that 2012~2014 buzz HF had.

Probably 500 people online at all times.

But, hopefully HF makes a resurgence to where it was at it's peak.

We have never been a warez forum nor will we be. Those all come and go and eventually get shut down. I can't think of one warez forum that's been online as long as HF. Also those 4 sites you speak about, all copy HF layout and features. Doesn't that tell you something? Because to me that says that I'm doing things correctly in the long-term which is how I play the game. They think of next week while I think of next year. I can guarantee you that anything I do that's a success they will copy.

Sadly the days of posting on the forum as the main activity here is dwindling. That doesn't mean we are dead. It just means that visitors and members are doing other things on the site. When I look at other sites. The forum postings are mostly required "thanks" to view a threads hidden posts. It's very low quality. Also you can view all their traffic sources. We are still the higher quality site with more US, UK, CA, and AU traffic which is much more valuable than Nigeria and Pakistan.

Maybe one day that's the default but right now I'm saying that's what you'll want to do.

I hope not. I really don't want to deal with that huge ton of LQP we had. Do I want activity? Absolutely but I'd rather see it go into better places. We can be a website destination that's much more than just posting in a forum. You should come here to make friends, do deals, and play our games.

Any plans for HF on the information security front?
Say, hosting CTFs and pushing more quality content on things like bug bounty.

Ah that actually makes a lot of sense, more off site or non post traffic from users.

and yes, the LQP is almost non existent compared to the shit people, including myself, used to post.
