I purchased my PC a year ago, and am only now realizing both my CPU and GPU are overclockable. however I know it can shorten the lifespan of my pc or melt??
does somebody have a lot of experience and are willing to help me overclock my pc to the 5.0 ghz it says it can go to. I drop frames from 240 fps in fortnite and want to keep it steady and that.

We'd be able to do it over a phone call, facetime or discord phone/video call while I do it.
I have no clue how long it takes, depending on it I can pay you in bytes, payment or possible free?

You can't overclock your CPU since it's an 8700, not an 8700k (k = overclockable CPU's on Intel). You can put it on turbo mode tho.
When it comes to overclocking GPU it's pretty easy.
