Fake Freebies & Giveaways - Venture - Aug 19, 2019
If a user posts that their giving something away, and doesnt give away anything. Are there any repercussions? This is applying to the freebies & giveaways subforum.

Yes, it's not taken lightly. They will be banned for a very long time, especially when eagle finds out.

Happens all the time, especially for non-upgraded members such as myself. Feels like I am only being used to bump a thread up lol.

If it happen let a mod know. It shouldn't happen all the time since doing it will be punished extremely. I have participated in a lot of giveaways and I don't 'win' them all but that doesn't mean that they are fake. It means that you didn't 'win'.

Guys above are referring for contests. These are heavily punished if contest is fake. For giveaways, there's no such thing as a fake giveaway in Freebies section. People usually give stuff away and then become inactive or the method is saturated or they don't want to bother or whatever. We don't enforce if they are going to give to someone or not, it's at their discretion as it's a sign of their good will. Most of the time, OP went inactive and members bump without looking at the thread date or OP's last online time.
