Is there any cloud storage account manager for Windows? - James Burnham - Aug 31, 2019 I have an external hard drive for backups but it recently got corrupted, and I am looking for something more reliable. I see that there are many cloud storage providers, like OneDrive, Google Drive, Mega, Dropbox etc. What I would like to have is a desktop app which manages multiple accounts of each storage provider so it will make multiple backups across all of them. Do you know of any software that does that job? RE: Is there any cloud storage account manager for Windows? - Zan - Aug 31, 2019 Avoid Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox in all circurmistances if possible. MEGA is pretty decent. You might also want to check more privacy friendly cloud storage at PrivacyTools. RE: Is there any cloud storage account manager for Windows? - friewert - Sep 1, 2019 RClone is fantastic as Giselle said. I transferred Terrabytes with fullspeed from one acccount to another. RE: Is there any cloud storage account manager for Windows? - One - Sep 1, 2019 Why not use Mega just pay and upgrade your account,Been using them for backups for years now RE: Is there any cloud storage account manager for Windows? - James Burnham - Sep 1, 2019 (Sep 1, 2019 02:58 AM)Tygaking Wrote: Why not use Mega just pay and upgrade your account,Been using them for backups for years nowI will probably just do that. Seems simpler. RE: Is there any cloud storage account manager for Windows? - Mr. Robot - Sep 1, 2019 Cloud storage is absolute garbage. Stay away from it at all costs. Setup a shared network in your own house and clone the files across multiple partitions. A $50-$100 router + however many drives you need. Then setup remote access to it via secure connection so you can access it away from home if you need too. I think MEGA is better ,My 4th year now and i have never had any issues,Backup is smooth and simple plus its well encrypted with 2FA,I dont see how that's garbage RE: Is there any cloud storage account manager for Windows? - Elweth - Sep 1, 2019 (Sep 1, 2019 02:27 AM)GodComplex Wrote: you were already exposed for being able to see other users docs that you upgraded since they on your plan I don't even know you? Stay away from it at all costs. You still need off site backups though. That requires renting space somewhere else or finding another friend/family member to colocate a NAS server. |
