Mobile Navigation Changes - Xerotic - Sep 24, 2019
This is for mobile view ONLY. Desktop view remains unchanged.
We have altered the flow of navigation for mobile view (the view you see when HF has the mobile navigation bar stuck at the top of the page). From this point forward the block that starts with "Welcome back, YOUR USERNAME HERE" has been removed, along with the navigational links below it. Prior to this change there existed two dropdown links. "Control Panel" and "YOUR USERNAME". Each had various links.
These links can now be found by clicking your avatar in the top left of the page in the mobile navigation header. When you click this you will be presented with a dropdown with two tabs. These two tabs contain the links that were removed from the aforementioned areas.
The new navigation area should look like:

To see these changes you will need updated CSS files. Please click the following links for the theme color you use and refresh them (CTRL + F5 on desktop) or just clear your cache to get the latest files.
Purple Theme:

Until you have the latest CSS files you will still see the old navigation style.

Not a fan of this update, sorry. This makes 1 hand browsing a hell of a lot more difficult.
I have to hold my phone completely horizontal to not drop it because I can't reach the avatar picture. This just feels weird.

Same here. Refreshed css files + cleared cache.
Using Samsung default browser.

Im guessing this will affect ipads to then... I kinda enjoyed using hf on my ipad as its a big enough screen for hf. Great update tho!

If you're on Samsung, use Reachability Cursor. Absoulety my favourite app. Perfect for 1-hand browsing 😉

Works fine for me. I had to go into Chrome on Android > Settings > Privacy > Clear Browsing History > All Time > Cache and just cleared it out. Screenshot below.

After clearing cache and css the menu don't work on Mobale Red or green to me.
But it works on Mobale blue. Weird.
Tried opening the links in the thread.
Also, when viewing a thread the menu is a bit too big and goes off the mobile screen. You can scroll sideways. But not on any other pages.

Same here. The too bar is gone for me. I've also reloaded the cache files.

Larger phones as well (OP 6 for example).

No, it's not for just HF. For everything such as Facebook, Instagram especially when you open DM with your thumb... (for large phones and you want to use with one hand/thumb) 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Honestly, either all those buttons are at the bottom or on the right side, which means they are still reachable if needed.
