Any Indians here? How do you transact? - Captain Pre - Sep 27, 2019

Btc? Not allowed.
Paypal? No F&F.

Are Rules and Regulations are Clay Davis.

What do you use to buy products off HF? or for currency exchange?

Just bank account and CC? 🤐

I'm not Indian but have two regular customers who are. They always pay by bank transfer as everything else seems far too difficult or complicated.

All the indian customers I've had paid me with Bitcoin. Didn't know it was illegal there. Huh...

I wasn't aware of it either, they actually just said it was either too expensive or awkward to arrange.

We don't have cashapp too!

And about Btc, for now. Buying/Selling btc through Indian Banks are not allowed.

And they are passing law to ban "Virtual Currencies" Permanently

Yes I am aware, I would have assumed you guys would have found a loophole, but I'm sure the indian hodlrs are holding onto a significant portion of BTC still.

Can't believe you don't have CashApp though...

Maybe something can be done to assist you guys

Are you allowed to use Payoneer? What about Visa Load N Go cards?

Then use Payoneer because they'll send you a physical card and you can then purchase.

If you cannot do this, you'll need to have it sent to a non-indian address then have that person forward the mail to you

Ahh yes I know this trader, I believe he is indian by the way he talks, that or doesn't know English well.

You can't really tell by a username/typing style

Well the new registration is not allowed anymore and only old accounts can transact and exchange, so apparently it doesn't matter if it's illegal or not, new user are not allowed to transact in crypto that's it. šŸ¤

Bitcoin is not illegal in India; however, the crypto exchange isn't allowed and as this guy (Flash) said: People can use P2P exchange system. Only banks aren't allowed to interfere when crypto is involved.

Secondly, it's not that hard to buy or transact online or on HF. There are many ways through which you could get your money exchanged in return for crypto although I find this PayPal law very absurd when it comes to sending and receiving payment in India!
