Why don't people respect others with mental disorder? - CHUZi - Sep 27, 2019 You are a person that is suffering from some sort of mental disorder, people immediately don't take you serious. I learned that in my life, one of my friends used to talk to some people. There were 2 Groups Group A didn't knew he had autism. Group B knew he had autism. Group A took him serious, they understood him and he could join working on the project. Group B immediately didn't took him serious, his opinions were worthless and he was simply ignored. RE: Why don't people respect others with mental disorder? - Blogger - Sep 27, 2019 If someone doesn't know someone else has a mental disorder, what else can they do but assume that person is an idiot? Don't like it? Speak up. Let them know. If they find out and they're still a dick, your mental disorder is not the problem. That person is just an asshole. But what makes them an asshole? Problems run deep. Mention them or deal with it. He can solve every problem at math, so he does. But if he comes out as autistic, the group will reject him, because they think he says crap even thought he's good at math. They don't believe him. Probably just thinking of society. Example2: If someone comes out as depressed then immediately people think the person is "retarded" because he has suicidal thoughts or he has no motivation to do anything. RE: Why don't people respect others with mental disorder? - Blogger - Sep 28, 2019 It sounds like you're being judgmental more than the group. But let's say that they do actually think that way. That's their prerogative. The person with autism should let them know. He doesn't need to speak. If he can do math, he can write. But it's not all on the "group". But it's not all on the "group". It's just an example, I experienced this in real life. Not especially with me but with others, for example my friend joined a team / group and he already had this sticker on his head "I'm autistic, i'm dumb" which in-fact was not true (That's what the team thought, because they knew he's autistic), he was really good at the subject. Because of the rejection, he couldn't show his power. If he wouldn't come up as autistic, they wouldn't know, they would let him do the work. I had to support him so he could show his knowledge, if I wouldn't be there, he would just be doing nothing as the team thought he will ruin the entire work. RE: Why don't people respect others with mental disorder? - Blogger - Sep 28, 2019 Those are assholes and people you shouldn't associate yourself with, or even bother with. It's a good thing they showed your friend who they really were. Your friend could have wasted a lot of his time trying to be friends with a bunch of dickheads. Sadly most people are like that, they immediately think if someone faces some mental disorder, he's already stupid. This is not only with autism but also as previously mentioned, depression or any other problem even adhd could count it. They are just always rejected by society and even thought they might be good and have good potential, they can't show it up. RE: Why don't people respect others with mental disorder? - SIM-3749878 - Sep 28, 2019 There are different types of mental disorders. Some of the most brilliant minds also suffer from mental disorders, real mental disorders, and I am sure 99% of people today have respect for people and especially those with mental disorders. However, and this is a big however, today there are a new type of mental disorder, trannies, liberals, environmentalists etc. There are literally people out there who believe there are more than 2 genders, that fucking humans can affect the climate and that it is racist to prioritize americans over foreigners, IN AMERICA. So, if you come up to me or anyone else and say "HURR DURR", then I doubt anyone will give a shit. If you start talking about how you identify as a fucking idiot and I should respect your pronouns, then you will genuinely force me to feel hate that is capable of fucking terrorism. I concur! If you are physically a male, you cannot get angry with people for referring to you as "him" or "he". Stfu with that shit. That's a disorder that I have no sympathy for, and this is coming from a member of the LGBTQ community. I'm a lesbian and even I find that shit to be annoying as fuck. But I definitely empathize with people who have a disorder such as autism. Respected you until you said that humans don't effect the climate, that's some convoluted logic, how could our presence not?? Genuinely excited for this, how could humans possibly have no effect on the climate with all that we do? Year 2018 was the year of "#metoo" and false rape accusations. 2019 is the year of the environment and Greta Thunberg, media is making everybody upset and giving autistic children the voice as world leaders. If you don't see a pattern then I'm sorry for you. Not to be rude, but you surely must be aware that people has claimed that the earth will die in 10 years if "we don't change", for well over 50 years now... Truth of the matter is that there are billions and billions of dollars in this industry of fake news and you are all contributing to it by believing the media when they claim the environment is threatened. Yes, it's bad to kill animals for nothing (like hunting Elephants etc), it's bad to dump waste in oceans (or anywhere) and so on. However, if every person on earth got their own car and drove around 24/7 for a year using traditional gasoline, nothing would change. Yeah we would increase the pollution, but once we turn off our car and rest, our beautiful trees will take care of the pollution and give us fresh air. If you missed the point: Driving for 8 hours, working for 8 hours and sleeping for 8 hours is a perfect cycle. And as a bonus: The majority of people doesn't own a car, and those who do don't drive for that long anyways. Climate change is a lie. It has been going on since the earth was born. Nothing we do will change it to the better or worse. |
