How do you publish a website and remain anonymous
I'm just using websites that sell drugs online as an example regarding their webserver hosting. I had to remove the link cause they are not allowed as I'm a new member. but just a search on Google for buy lsd online and heaps of the come up
Now I'm only using these website as and example of the web server hosting nothing to do with the content on the website. These website sells illegal drugs online the owners is motivated by profit.
I'm not planning to profit by sell illegal goods online or to profit in way I'm just interesed in the concept because I live in a country which is ruled under a totalitarian regime and freedom of speech is silenced. There are laws in place where where the police will come and arrest you and put you under detention without trial indefinitely if you criticize cirtain people in power. But even that does not stop the will of the people to spread the truth out to fellow citizen and to the whole world.
Just using the above website as a example how did the owner publish that and remain anonymous cause obviously he or she will be going to jail for long time if there anonymous status is compromised
And also how did the owner got it the come up first page in a Google search by searching buy lsd online.
Any input would be greatly appreciated

it's much easier to host content on the darknet than on a clearnet website while protecting your anonymity. but.. if they want to find you, they will. in order to be truly anonymous doing something like this would require years of research and studying OPSEC.

Yes but the general public that are not involved in activities which could get them in trouble with the law generaly don't use the dark net they just search on google

what you are looking for is how to set up a website using an onion hidden service.
its exactly the same thing sites like silk road (rip) , dream market and all the other darknet markets use. essentially any website hosted on the darknet is what you are looking for i think.
the reason many get busted is because of poor opsec. what you are asking to learn how to do is not easy. sure, setting up a website might be easy. getting a website hosted using hidden services might be easy.
hosting a website that functions as a ebay-like merchant website and is also secure is not exactly simple.

Can it be done? yes.. but if you are asking here how to do it you should realize that many others much more skilled than you have tried and have gotten arrested.
as another user above has suggested, you can go the clear net route using bullet proof hosting... you really have to trust your hosting as this route is not truly anonymous.

Mate, a lot of your well-funded websites these days are protected by load balancers. The webserver is hosted on a machine (yours), which is sent to a load balancer (such as Akamai or Amazon or what have you), and finally, these load balancers and cache centers are directed to a domain name server (courtesy of the ICANN).
I'll give you a more direct example.
Hackforums.net, a website, is stored in a machine, which serves as your webserver. It takes thousands to millions of view requests per day, right? That's where your load balancer, Cloudflare, comes in. In this case, the load balancer, Cloudflare, directs website load to specific regions all over the world.
Do you know the IP address of Hackforums.net? No, you can't. Because Cloudflare keeps it confidential. And that's a good thing: it's not just a matter of anonymity. The load balancer also serves to take in all possible damage should a hack actually happen. For example, if you manage to send a SIGKILL command to this website, HF doesn't shut off totally. Instead, the load balancer does. Cloudflare simply needs to turn the cloud switch on again, and we're all sunshine and buttercups.
Now, on your question with surveillance in a totalitarian regime -- the problem here is not the website seen externally; it's the ISP that you have to face. No matter how powerful your IDS is, your load balancer, or whatever it is you got, your ISP has the capacity to enter your localnet (check your Port 49152. All routers have a killcommand backdoor there, along with brand-specific remote access tools).

Host it on .onion ..as simple as that. The great thing about .oinion link is ..it stays the same. so you start apache..start tor ..start mysql..that's it.

These people all use offshore hosting and switch domains, also they use bank accounts in offshore countries that don't give a fuck where the money comes from

File your domain under a fake name. Easy as hell. Technically it's blackhat but easy.
