Can a phishing page be used to log IP addresses in addition to collecting submitted information?

You're posting in the incorrect section if you're asking about Phishing pages, if you're interested you can look here: Beginner Hacking
However if you've been logged by a Phishing page, they will most likely have IP addresses and all passwords you've typed in.

That is more complex than needed........
You can get an IP just by an image hosted on a webserver. no need to code anything that is overkill.
