Fighter jet experience - HF.Psych - Oct 11, 2019
Has anyone ever done a fighter jet experience? I've just booked a day with a fighter pilot and a jet. I've never been into that stuff but I thought it'd be an awesome experience.

I haven't but hell am I jealous of those who have. I've heard nothing but great experiences from people who've done it.

Yeah I heard the US F-35's with the helmet you can see all around you like xray so it looks like you're floating in air in your perspective.

That's with cameras that project vision from beneath the aircraft right?
I heard those helmets are custom designed to the pilot and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I can't imagine it'd be too disruptive to the pilot... they still need to have access to all their flight instruments.
