[Help] DNS Not Forwarding (basic issue) - doeland444 - Oct 14, 2019

So im using Quasar and only infecting myself to test things, no crypter yet, just messing around, but i'm having issues with my DNS not sending myself through when I change my IP through my VPN

So it looks like this:
1. Setup DNS, build client with it.
2. Run client, see I pop up, all good.
- sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt, but not the main issue
3. Change servers on my VPN for a different IP
4. Update all the DNS settings to forward to the new IP
5. Sit and wait?

Nothing pops back up on Quasar, so is my DNS not forwarding correctly? Or does it just take a looong time for DNS to start forwarding? Or am I missing a setting in Quasar?

Im using DNSExit, because of the IP auto updater you can force, as well as tried freedns.afraid

Ive googled a ton, all I really saw was the possibility DNS forwarding can take up to 24hrs? very confused.

😭

ALL suggestions welcome,
Thanks in advance :)

Host a VPN through a VPS. I use this for when I was living in hotel's for a while and didn't have a static IP. It should only cost you about $5/month
