Bumping old posts - Zero - Oct 14, 2019 Is there a rule against this? There is a guy who bumps posts from 2008-2010 and it's kind of annoying... RE: Bumping old posts - uʍop ǝpısdn - Oct 14, 2019 Yes there is, this is not allowed and feel free to report it. Is there a section to report or just PM staff? There is a report button under each post in the bottom right corner, you can report it for 'posting etiquette' or 'other' RE: Bumping old posts - Threat - Oct 14, 2019 Just press report button and they'll get a warning and once enough warnings = 12 month ban. So his posts are older than 48 hours which means I can't report. I'll write a PM later to one of the staff. Thanks guys. No problem, you can ask staff if you have any questions too. RE: Bumping old posts - flavoral - Oct 14, 2019 1. Should've posted the thread in Site News 2. Yes and No. There's no rule against posting/bumping a thread from 10 years ago as long as useful post or continuing the conversation on that topic. However there's a rule against useless thread-digging. RE: Bumping old posts - Zexi - Oct 14, 2019 You won’t believe it but incase he isn’t digging for old content he can reply on old threads to spark a conversation or reply something related to the thread is allowed and not considered gravedigging. Xerotic said that in discord the other day. RE: Bumping old posts - SIM-2327840 - Oct 14, 2019 If its a legit reply and may revive a interesting thread i cant see why not. If its just a "send me this plz" from a 2016 threar yea thats reportable.. 🤝 RE: Bumping old posts - Zero - Oct 14, 2019 (Oct 14, 2019 06:54 AM)Zexi Wrote: You won’t believe it but incase he isn’t digging for old content he can reply on old threads to spark a conversation or reply something related to the thread is allowed and not considered gravedigging. I understand what you're saying and I actually agree with it but bumping more than 5 posts randomly from 2008 to 2010 seems like trolling. But it's not my job to decide. Posting on old threads is permitted as long as the post is on topic and relevant to discussion. |
