How to get a Meterpreter session on Windows 10? - Itsfr0sty - Oct 14, 2019
I managed to get one working on a Windows 7 machine, but I can not figure out Windows 10! I've been doing some serious googling trying to get this to work for a couple weeks now. I can get a session using a reverse tcp, but Windows AV always detects the file on the target machine. Any help or advice is appreciated!. Also I would like to add I'm doing this on my own computers. :)

Yeah Defender has gotten some pretty major infusions and most crapware which is just generated and executed on a target machine will fail when defender and smartscreen are going. Best and easiest thing is add an exception or just disable it, remember that Metasploit has been using the same templates for how long ? At least 6+ years.

Dont use metasploit payloads. Use a different payload generator. Thefatrat and shellter used to be good at evading AV but that was years ago. Not sure how well they do now... Another one was called unicorn

Unicorn is for powershell attacks
if you want get past defender with meterpterter you need to gen an exe and crypt it.
I would suggest using one of the native crytpers here on hf.
or use some toolsl like :
