Notification Bug Reports & Suggestions - Xerotic - Oct 29, 2019
Recently we have replaced the old "MyAlerts" system with our newly created "Notify" system for site notifications. This project is still new and some bugs will exist while we perfect the plugin. I'd like if members could report any bugs that they notice here in this thread.
Before you post any bug reports I ask you to please ensure that you have notifications enabled: https://hackforums.net/notify.php
Make sure you check what you want to see otherwise you won't be notified for it.
If you have any loading errors it would help to see a error log from your browser. To do this:
Right Click > Inspect Element > Console Tab > Copy any red error messages
This will help to pinpoint problems so that we can solve them quicker.
If you have any suggestions you can also post them in this thread. Thank you.

Good idea for this thread.
The only bug I've noticed so far is the one where a notification will sometimes disappear after clicking on the Bell and closing it. I've see a few other people encounter it as well.

I adjusted the plugin a bit so let me know how the notifications turn out now after viewing them.

Bug on mobile:
The avatar button leading to the new posts button etc does not work when on the notifications page.
Mobile browser: Brave - no add-ons or ad blockers enabled.

For me the only bug that happens at the moment as I've sent you convo earlier this week.
If I get notification from a thread for example, I click and I reply.
Then go back to the main page, I still have the notification as Un-read, so I have to keep clicking and refreshing until it goes away.
Does not happen often, like 1 out of 5 or 10 new notifications.

Which type of notification? Quote? Mention?
