WoW Retail or WoW Classic? - SIM-4086413 - Nov 9, 2019
Which is most popular you think?
On reddit, twitch, youtube and google it seems that WoW classic is far more popular however it is clear that retail has way more servers, a lot more servers which are full at any given moment aswell.
However i did read that blizzard updsted the classic servers from their standard specification they usually use and that a normal populated server on classic equals a full with que server on retail so let alone what those full servers on classic mean compared to the full servers on retail.
I personally think that Classic is at this point more popular, BFA is realy bad and most people who are done with BFA have moved on to classic (for now).
Most old school WoW players go for classic aswell and i noticed that people who never played WoW before consider the classic version to be the number 1 pick at the start because they think thset it's a basic version of retail which is kinda true i guess, a basic but hardcore version.
What do you think and which do you play the most?

I think classic atm, but i bet that popularity drops when new expansion comes to retail.

Yeah that is also what i think which makes it harder for me to decide which of the 2 i want to play.
If classic was guaranteed to survive for many years to come then i definitely would have gone for classic tho.
But at this point it isn't even certain what classic is going to become.

I have same problem, maybe just waiting new expansion.
Not really worth to waste time in classic.

Yeah i think you are right, i also think that blizzard learned from BFA's mistakes and that shadow is going to be awsome or at least a lot better.
