can't really respect anyone who had no concern for their own life and did drugs. Obviously he knew the risks, but still took them.

Sure you can; he tried to get out of the hole he was in but was in too deep. Through depression, highly addictive drugs and minimal support from his peers - he found success in the little time he was on this planet. Respect him or not, he did things you & I likely could never do.

Lil Peep died 2 years and 8 days ago, the posthumous release that OP posted in this thread is on his new album and tribute documentary.
