Each time I try to access the website I get error? - duck - Nov 27, 2019
Each time I access the website, I have to complete captcha, I do and then it wants me to complete captcha again for no reason? and I do, I get this error
"HackForums.net security firewall is blocking your access. You may be attempting to post or send a PM that contains data which triggers a firewall rule. I've never faced this issue before, then I just have to refresh couple of times and i'm in.
Anyone faces the same?

I had this within the last hour but It was when I still had my split tunnel VPN active. Changing to a regular vpn worked. Not sure whats causing it in your case. Unless you have some sort of blocking browser extension maybe?

It's your VPN. You will continue to get the captcha until you disable it.

i guess, is this a new rule? It has never happened to me before.
Do you plan on "blocking" all vpn's now?

Had this happen to me too just moments ago after mistakenly switching vpn on pc. checked my trust scan afterwards and it was all messed up lol. I do not think hf is about to 'block all vpn' but ofcourse do not encourage its use 🤐

No, im using my normal isp, it also happens on me. No vpn related issue, the captcha was shown twice which is weird then the message about firewall rule show.

in my case it wasn't instantaneous. first ran hf on a vpn. and while it was loading i realized i was on a diff cloud so i immediately closed browser after first captcha passed. so i reset pc/wifi then tried again.. and it was all good. 6hrs later...i get the error once after first captcha. at this point, i wasn't even on any vpn.

I gotta look at the WAF of CF. If someone is blocked I need the IP and Cloudflare Ray ID please. DO NOT SEND ME SCREENSHOTS. I want text version please.
There was a brief attack yesterday which triggered a lot of extra security. It could have been the cause of additional blocks even for legit traffic.

Nope, that rule has been in place for years now.
I haven't had to solve a captcha code in quite a long time now.

I've noticed one thing, and that is each time after I pass through UnderAttackMode or Captcha it adds extremely long path (e.g. https://hackforums.net/?__cf_chl_captcha_tk__=23819281928ojsdklajsd19219821928aa&asdaskdaj29237)
That happens to me with 90% of CF Protected Websites for unknown reason. They must have updated something.
